Care Ambulance Acquires Southwestern EMS.
Indianapolis, Indiana - Care Ambulance of Indianapolis, Indiana, has acquired the operations of Southwestern EMS, an ambulance company currently operating out of Jasonville, Indiana.
Southwestern EMS currently services over 300 runs per month in the Western Indiana area
"We are excited about obtaining the employee base that brings with the numerous years of providing quality patient care and making an entry into the Western Indiana market with a reputable provider and a professional group of employees. These individuals will be instrumental to the success of Care Ambulance," said Gabe VanVactor, Director of Operations at Care Ambulance.
Care Ambulance is a division of Louisville Transportation Company (LTC). LTC traces its origins to 1893 and has been providing ambulance service since 1928. The company was acquired by Interlock Industries in 1982. Yellow Ambulance of Louisville has been a leader in providing ambulance services for almost 80 years. Care and Yellow Ambulance have over 100 ambulance units and make over 10,000 runs a month serving Jefferson, Daviess, Christian and Bullitt counties in Kentucky and Marion, Clark and Floyd counties in Indiana with Basic and Advanced Life Support services.
